Okay, so, let's talk about the Wealth Score. Basically, the Wealth Score is, you know, think of it like a scoreboard for how you're doing in building wealth, but not just financial wealth, right? We're talking about a more holistic view of things.
And the idea is that, before you really dive deep into everything, you should take this quiz. It's important to get a baseline, you know, a starting point. This way, you can actually see how you're progressing as you, like, you know, build and balance your life. Think of it as something you can come back to, kind of like, I don't know, tracking your net worth online, but for all areas of your life, not just money.
So, how do you actually figure out your Wealth Score? Well, it's a pretty simple quiz. There are five statements for each type of wealth β and remember, we're talking Time, Social, Mental, Physical, and Financial wealth. And for each statement, you just answer with a number, right? Zero means you strongly disagree, one is disagree, two is neutral, three is agree, and four is strongly agree. Then, you just add up your score for each section. And then add all the sections together. So, the highest you can score in each type of wealth is 20, because, you know, four times five is twenty. And the maximum overall Wealth Score? One hundred, obviously.
Now, let's get into the quiz itself, okay? So first, Time Wealth. Ask yourself these questions and score them, right? I have a deep awareness of the finite nature of my time, like how important it is, the fact that itβs my most precious asset. Secondly, do I have a clear understanding of, like, the two or three most important priorities in my personal and professional life? Next, am I able to consistently focus on those important priorities? Fourth, do I rarely feel too busy or scattered to spend time on those things? And finally, am I actually in control of my calendar and priorities? Really think about these!
Alright, next up, Social Wealth. Howβs your social life? Do I have a core set of deep, loving, supportive relationships? Am I consistently able to be the partner, the parent, the family member, the friend that I want to be? Do I have a network of looser relationships that I can learn from and build on? Do I have a deep feeling of connection to a community, whether itβs local, spiritual, whatever, or to something bigger than myself? And do I avoid trying to gain status or respect through buying stuff? Like, is that something I actively avoid?
Moving onto Mental Wealth... I think this is so important. Do I regularly embrace a childlike curiosity? Do I have a clear purpose that gives my life daily meaning and helps me with making decisions? Am I pursuing growth and, like, always chasing my full potential? Do I fundamentally believe that I can constantly change, develop, and adapt? And do I have regular rituals that create space to think, reset, and recharge? Really important stuff!
Okay, then we have Physical Wealth. Am I feeling strong, healthy, and vital for my age? Do I move my body regularly, through a workout routine or just an active lifestyle in general? Do I eat mainly whole, unprocessed foods? Do I sleep seven or more hours a night regularly and feel rested? And do I have a clear plan in place to stay healthy as I get older?
Finally, let's talk about Financial Wealth. Do I have a clear idea of what it means to have enough financially? Is my income growing along with my skills? Do I manage my expenses so they're always less than my income? Do I have a system for investing extra money for long-term growth? And am I using my financial wealth to actually build other types of wealth?
So, once you've taken the quiz, add everything up! Then, you can use the results to kind of, you know, visually represent your score. It'll give you a clear understanding of your strengths and weaknesses at the start, and that can help you set goals for a more comprehensive and fulfilling life. And, you know, I think there's also a link you can use the5typesofwealth.com/quiz. It is a great way to start thinking about this in a new way.
