Chapter Content
Okay, so, chapter... twenty-nine, right? We're talking about, like, how to actually *use* all this time we've managed to, you know, *make* for ourselves. Because, let's be honest, having more free time is great and all, but it's kinda pointless if you don't know what to *do* with it, right? So, yeah, control is the pillar for this section.
Basically, all the stuff we've been going through, with, like, being more aware and focusing better, it's all supposed to help you, you know, *create* this time. And, like, the big question now is, what the heck do you *do* with it? Like, seriously. What activities do you want to get into? What are you, like, really drawn to? Who do you wanna spend more time with? Because that's the whole point of, you know, taking control of your time. It's, like, you get to *choose* how you spend it.
So, here's a little exercise, right? Think of it as, like, a zoomed-out version of the Energy Calendar we talked about before. Think back... just... think. What were the things that actually gave you energy in your life, both at work and outside of it?
Like, what things outside of your job just felt, like, *good*? What felt, you know, life-giving and joyful? And who made you feel energized? I mean, seriously, think about the people who just lift you up, you know?
What new things did you learn, or what mental stuff got you really curious, like, made you want to, you know, dig deeper? And what rituals or routines made you feel more peaceful, calm, and, you know, clear-headed?
What about physical activities? What did you actually *enjoy* doing? And, professionally, what felt, I don't know, *easy*, or even... fun? Like, seriously, *fun*?
Answering these questions is all about figuring out what, you know, fills your cup. It's about finding out what actually brings life into your world. Then, you can take this newly freed-up time and, you know, pour it into those things. More activities, more people, more pursuits that, yeah, actually make you feel good.
We're gonna go deeper into this in the next sections. We're going to be talking about, um, Social Wealth, Mental Wealth, Physical Wealth, and Financial Wealth. Basically, we'll dive into each of those areas to help you figure out where you might wanna spend some of this extra time you now have.
So, yeah. The journey's just starting, really. And, yeah, the best is yet to come. That's the idea, anyway.
